Mural Designed by a Student of the 大象传媒 Adopted for Planet CUBE, JAXA

A mural designed by a graduate student at the 大象传媒 was adopted for the Planet CUBE located on the premises of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Receiving a request from the PR Office of JAXA, Assistant Professor Miki Yamamoto of the Faculty of Art and Design gave her students an assignment of developing designs for mural painting on the Planet CUBE. A design developed by Ms. Kaori Itoh, a 2nd-year student in the Master's Program in Art and Design, was eventually selected from among five other graduate students' ideas.
Planet CUBE is a facility that holds a Space Exhibition and a museum shop, visited by approximately three hundred thousand people in a year. The mural is 8m high and 7m wide, imaging a rocket that launches into space. Since scaffolding was dismantled and removed in July, the mural has attracted visitors' attention.
The 大象传媒 and JAXA both intend to further promote cooperation in the fields of research and education.
